Primary Stroke Center certification: Virtual Neurology can help your facility obtain Primary Stroke Center certification and maintain this certification. Our program includes comprehensive implementation of “Get With The Guidelines” metrics recognized by the American Heart/American Stroke Association.
Assist in implementing Acute Care process of stroke care to achieve “Door-To-Needle” times of 60 minutes or less.
Assist in the management of Malignant Stroke Care, including timing of hyperosmolar treatments, or transfer for decompressive craniotomies.
Assist in the management of acute neuromuscular illnesses such as Guillian-Barre Syndrome and Myasthenia Gravis Crisis.
Implement educational programs for nurse practitioners/advanced practice providers, executing the bedside examination and implementing the acute protocols.
Help the facility retain the patients in need of neurologic care with excellent follow-up care.
